profiles
a simple
request including the relevant information (drawings, sketches, etc.)
will bring you a layout profile for one or more of our models. these
profiles, numbered and costed, and including plans and section drawings,
quotations and freight costs, take into account all relevant aspects of
the dwelling in question - e.g. ceiling height, position and sectional
area of existing or proposed flues, thermal efficiency etc., these
profiles are entirely free of charge and without obligation.
Safety
in use
Our
models have all undergone technical examination by the industrial
experts whose responsibility it is to assess their safety in use. We
would like to state that since the inception of our range, in 1972, we
know of no accident to person or property connected with their use for
which we have been judged responsible. The information given in our
installation handbook is approved by our insurers AXA insurance.
Concerning regulation, we must stress that all national requirements
should be rigidly observed.
Custom
building
The
manufacturing of flues and connecting pieces according to individual
measurements avoids as far as possible the need for further work on our
systems on site, and frequently reduces installation work to a simple
mechanical operation.
Furthermore, by adapting our systems to the various rules and
regulations encountered abroad, we have reached a point where we divide
more than 42% of our production between the rest of the European Union,
Eastern Europe, America and Asia.
Installation and maintenance handbooks
The
manuals contain:

general information on how our fireplaces work.
·
explanatory
notes on the various ways our models can be connected and adapted.
·
installation
instructions for each model.
a
detailed technical supplement to the catalogue, the handbook is
included with all our layout profiles, or can be sent on request.
Thermal efficiency
The
fact that there are no studies available in France affording a
standard of comparison for the thermal efficiency of open fires gives
rise to certain highly imaginative claims; we have therefore
deliberately refrained, from stating precise output figures for models
installed in theoretical locations.
It is
only after making layout profiles for individual clients in specific
projects that we are prepared to take sole responsibility for
estimates based on our professional experience.
Standard equipment
Under
this heading, we include all components mentioned in our
specifications or on our technical drawings, other than those stated
to be optional extras.
In the
case of fireplaces with vertical flues, the latter are included up to
a ceiling height of 2,7 m; beyond this, there is an extra cost.
