Correct installation is an important element to consider when purchasing a Focus Fire. We can provide you with a complete quotation which will eliminate the need to try and find a competent installer yourself.

We are fully registered with Hetas, the official approval body for the UK domestic solid fuel industry, who are responsible for ensuring all work is carried out to the highest possible standards. Only Hetas Registered Installers can issue you with a Certificate of Compliance that confirms the installation complies with Building Regulations. This certificate will also ensure that the work is properly notified to your Local Authority.

Of course it is possible for you to fit the fire using your own builder and we are always available to provide all the information you need to do this. The fire is delivered with all the necessary installation information along with a Users Guide which is packed with useful information regarding the type of wood to burn and how to get the best from your new fire. However we must point out that if you or your builders fit the fire then you will need the appliance to be checked and approved by your Building Inspector for which they will make a charge.

If you choose to install a gas fire instead of a wood burner you will need to have the appliance fitted and approved by an installer who is registered with the Gas Safety Register.  Diligence can assist with the installation process but the Gas fitter must approve the fire for use.
